We are trying to find the names of all of the former rural schools that now make up the Cornell School District.  If you know of any, please contact the district at 715-239-6463.  Here are the thirteen we have so far:

Fairview, Keystone, Cleveland Center, Estella, Eleonor, Point View, Golden Rule, Pleasant Ridge, White Pine, Huron State Graded, Colburn/Pike Lake, Robert, Firth, & Finley Lake.

Cornell School's Graduation Requirements:

  • 4 English Credits
  • 2 Math Credits
  • 2 Science Credits
  • 1 1/2 Credits of Physical Education
  • 3 1/2 Credits of Social Studies (for graduating classes prior to 2014)
  • 3 Credits of Social Studies (for graduating class of 2014)
  • 1/2 Credit of Introduction to Computers
  • 1 Semester of Health (grades 7-12)
  • 13 1/2 Credits in Elective Coarses

Typical Admissions Requirements (4 year college):

  • 4 English Credits
  • 3 Social Studies
  • 3 Science (Physical Science, Biology, Advanced Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
  • 3 Math (Algebra and Higher)

UW Admissions and Financial Aid:

Students may apply to and UW starting on September 15th.  Students may apply to Technical Schools as of October 1st.  All students should apply early. Students may apply for financial aid as of January 1st.  Pick up applications in the guidance office or at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Selective Services:

All males must register with the Selective Services by their 18th birthday.  You may do this through www.sss.gov or through your post office.

Technical School Requirements:

All students who plan to attend technical school must take their Compass Test.  To enter Technical College you must have your High School Diploma or your HSED certificate.
